Privacy policy
Who we are
Probability Cards is an independent educational website. The site owner is the person responsible for this policy and can be reached through the contact form.
What happens in your browser
- Calculations stay on your device. Card selections, seeds, settings and simulation results are processed in your browser. They are not sent to us and are gone when you close or reload the page.
- No accounts. There is no sign-up or login.
- CSV downloads are created in your browser and saved to your device.
- No cookies, no ads. The site sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and loads no advertising or social-media scripts. It does count anonymous page views (see the next section).
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical details such as browser type and the page requested, and may keep them in logs for security and operation. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Anonymous visit counts
To learn which pages are useful, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare it does not use cookies or browser storage, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track you across websites. It records anonymous page-view information such as the page visited, the referring site, country, browser and device type. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The contact form
If you use the contact form we receive the email address and message you type, and your name if you add one. They are sent through the form service Web3Forms to the site owner's inbox. We use them only to reply and to fix problems, and delete them when they are no longer needed. The form service may keep a copy for a limited time under its own policy (web3forms.com/privacy). Please do not include sensitive personal information, or information about children, in a message.
Children
The site is designed for learners of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The contact form is meant for adults, parents and teachers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Use the contact form to make a request. Because we keep so little, in most cases there is nothing beyond a message you sent us.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way (for example if advertising or analytics are added) it will be updated here before the change takes effect, and the date at the top will change.
